The reason I love this game so, so much is how utterly unique and different everybody's playthrough can be...when you said you didn't find any backhand swords it literally made me double take because the very first weapon I found, like literally within 15 mins of starting the dlc, was in fact backhand swords...incredible

THE REASON IT IS A 9/10. Spoilers below, beware. And I really do love the game and would consider it a masterpiece. It’s just ending A left a lot of be desired. It felt so abrupt my first playthrough and then fakes the loss of a loved one only to be like *tee hee never mind* “I’m just glad your okay” >:| felt a little lazy and forced, did not appreciate it and it. Sadly it did not do the game Justice. Then you are forced to keep playing to get a more valuable ending. Meh😟 It puts it up there with mass effect 3, I’ll keep replaying this for the rest of my life it’s just the endings… it makes it a 9/10. The endings compared to the journey feel lack luster

FFXVI the 2nd time thru is honestly amazing. We've been blessed to have two different and amazing games in the last year with Dawntrail right on their heels. Rebirth is probably the best game I have played in the last 5 years outside of Armored Core 6. We are in another golden age of FF. Appreciate it while it lasts.

they already are gonna have a tough enuff time balancing this game, so all the other suggestions are great UNTIL that road needs to be crossed

28:18 there are a lot of "games" that have those things in them but that doesnt make them games either. People need to accept that about their open world sandboxes. It is not a game, it is a toy chest for you to fuck around in for a few minutes at a time. If there is no overarching objective or challenge, there is no game.

The one thing I really don't like about what I've seen of this game is Hecate's design. I'm not sure what they were going for there... I guess it was supposed to look witchy, but it doesn't really come across very well for me other than the hat... I like the integration of some of her symbolism, but overall I don't like it aesthetically.

14:30 do you know why Varric will die in the next Dragon Age game? Because when the Hero made a decision at the end, both other companions were influenced, but Varric did not. Also, Bianca was destroyed, so basically Varric will not be a useful companion. Also when the portal opened, there were 2 ancient gods in the entrance, so he does not has to much going for him. Well, at least he won't be killed with a golf club... I hope.

The thing I heard that I liked the most about Dragon Age Veilguard was that FF12 was an inspiration. If you're trying to make a party based, action game where your companions are still capable of complicated actions, FF12 is what I would follow.

I love it when shillup in his videos is all "we have to take the developers side of the story" and "it's clear the publisher is not making it easy for the developers." But in the very same video he will then blame a developer cause a game is being held back by a publisher. I.E. miyazaki and bloodbourne. Why is it his fault? On the topic of veil guard, It's interesting because I'm an old fan and did not feel excited about the new title, but my younger brother, who has no affiliation with the older titles, has said that the game caught his eye. This could totally be the angle EA is shooting for with the new release, considering how long ago the original fan favorite came out.

If ubi put more efforts on the cut scenes, it might justify the long hours of playing. Imagine, pledging new territory will get you to a final scene where LGBT+10 Super mega B*ll shit are kissing and do some sh*t... 🙄🙄

I feel like ShillUp missed the point with what Miyazaki said. What I got from what he said is basically "I want more Bloodborne too! Stop asking me ask Sony!!
